Centre of studies of Juozas Miltinis heritage

The centre was founded in 1996 and offers an insight into the authentic environment of life of Juozas Miltinis (1907–1994), the founder of and director at the Panevėžys Theatre: the library, the manuscript vault, the artwork collection and the compendia of audio and video records from rehearsals. The centre has the keeping of actor Kazimieras Vitkus’s archive on the Panevėžys Drama Theatre of Juozas Miltinis. The exhibition hall hosts art and theatre expositions, chamber nights, conferences, houses a permanent display titled “The Juozas Miltinis’s Life and Theatre” and offers excursions.
